Concerts to follow in June in Newcastle and Liverpool.

Just bumping this as our gig tonight in Reading is the trio's last until June. The Rising Sun is a fantastic venue but the jazz & improv programme is under threat due to low audiences. So it would be great if anyone within reach of Reading would think of coming out and supporting creative music - let's show them people care about this music!

Wish I could be there - well, yes and no, actually: yes for the music, no for Reading, a place I seem to get stranded in every bloody time I try to pass through. Must have made an indelible impression on me too.. when I saw the poster for the last but one Coens film Burn After Reading I thought it was referring to the city of the same name

Funny, Nottingham is the place I always seem to get lost, though it did take Patrick Farmer and I about two hours to leave Newcastle once...
