Pleased to announce another three days festival in Brooklyn this October. The last one went very well and this time we will have guests Bonnie Jones, Mike Bullock, Dave Barnes, Jonathan Zorn, and Will Guthrie joining New York musicians. The schedule is not totally complete, there will be someone joining Kenta Nagai on the 12th, and Will may join a set on the 11th, but I wanted to give a heads up about it...check site for final details in the coming weeks.

i was considering coming to NYC for this. would love to see guthrie, and need to see bonnie jones again after a great set in austin.

but dave barnes? we're not allowed to carry knives onto airplanes.

This sounds quite appealing, but I'm seeing The Residents on the 11th.

that doesn't sound appealing at all (the residents).

I might try and make it in for this. Do you have any idea of roughly when each of them will come to an end?

Who's Barnes? He and Tucker Dulin are the only two guys on the schedule I've never heard of before.

Dulin is a NYC-based trombonist, I believe formerly from Boston. Barnes is the Antichrist, the root of all evil, the destroyer of men's minds (and the namesake of this site).

When i met Tucker Dulin he was based in San Diego.

Yep, he was in graduate school there for a while, I believe, and used to be involved in a long-gone venue with a dude named Dan.

concerts start tomorrow night and I would also like to point everyone to www.wkcr.org for a live streaming broadcast with participants of Three Days from 2am to 6am on Saturday the 11th.... or this could be viewed as very late on Friday night.
