Bhob Rainey - New LP and Limited Edition Artwork

There's a long story behind this, and it's written here

The short of it is that this is a piece of music constructed from a found wire spool recording (dated 1951-1952), followed by a slow, dreaming [sic.] flip side, some of which I did in collaboration with Jason Lescalleet. You can pre-order the LP, or you can, right now, get one of three limited edition sets with eight, layered glass collages. Actually, one of those is taken, but you still get to pick from all three (each is unique).

This is an immensely enjoyable record Bhob. "When you talk, you hear from the other side" is hilarious and scary. The two sides are a beautiful complement - and the LP sound is fabulous.

Oh wow, I haven't been on IHM for a long time, so I missed this. Thanks, Michael. I'm glad that you are enjoying and fearing it! I'm very happy with the sound quality of the vinyl as well, and though that is due in part to me mastering for a number of records over the years (you gotta get a feel for the physics), it's also because Pirate's Press does a very good job with good material (45rpm doesn't hurt, either).
