The third and final collaboration as part of a residency at Diapason which had our long running duo work with different musicians on a site specific evening length piece for Diapason's two rooms and two sound systems. This piece finds us combining structural and sonic material from the previous two pieces (with Gill Arno and Leif Sundstrom in February, and with Tucker Dulin in March), a plethora of piano material recorded by Ron Stabinsky, and electronic material recorded by the two of us specifically for this piece. Beginning at 7pm with a 90 minute, 12 speaker overture composed of material recorded by Ron on open piano strings, and flowing into the "live" piece at 8:30 for 20 speakers, doublebass, and improvised and pre-determined electronics.
