Working from home on a Monday has its advantages...

mmm, very nice. Looking forward to some sound samples. I made a Rat clone from general guitar gadgets for a friend of mine and it worked great, first pedal I've built. I didn't realize that on the other side of the schematic was a detailed instruction guide, so I ended up assembling it by staring at the picture of the open pedal from the website and holding components up the computer screen to compare them, since I can't read schematics :/
After I got it all done after three hours of squinting at my laptop and trying to match resistor band colors, I turned the schematic over and there was a detailed explanation with a color list and everything. DOH!

Going to record some sounds today.

That method of building is kind of impressive. OK, so you could have done it more easily, but you challenged yourself (albeit accidentally!)

A friend of mine has also made a synth (rather noise generator) with 6 knobs or so and some switches. I guess if I knew some elementary physics/schematics, I'd give it a try and make one by myself. (Being a humanist has its downsides ) Now I program synthesizers on a PC, but it is sort of a different deal.
