Just bought a Doepfer Dark Energy and thought my Yamaha QY70 would work as a controller but can't seem to get them to work together, got my DX21 keyboard controlling it nicely, i'm totally clueless at working with Midi so i'm hoping it's something i'm doing wrong, any suggestions out there?

first guess would be that you're sending on the wrong channel...

I've just realised why the QY70 didn't work, there's a host switch on the side and it wasn't on midi..............it took me all day to notice that, oh dear, well it's all working now

this is a pretty classic equipment gaffe - don't know how many times I've plugged MIDI In to another MIDI In port or something like that. just fire up that doepfer already.

i'm sure we'd all love to hear some samples of that thing...
