I don't always check this thread, but when I do, there's something good in it.

I have a couple of tracks of this sort of material recorded , need to maybe edit/remaster a bit but I quite like it pretty much as it is:

Don't judge me too harshly. I've only just started to make this kind of stuff, and I don't get a lot of chances to make recordings since I'm very rarely home alone.

Now that's a good question. I can't remember exactly, but it's certainly mostly field recordings taken on my smart phone.
There may be some bent data. The basis for the track was made months ago, then I did something else, and then I finished it off last week.
It's all FX'd and put together in Audacity.

I'm glad you like it though. Thanks for saying so. :D

I have this soundcraft mixer, a buncha pedals and kaossilator. The mixer and the pedals are feedbacklooped. Doing this will leave two channels unused. I send the kaossilator to one spare input. This way I can switch from feedbackloop to kaossilater or combine them. Sometimes it´s like they are fighting.

It's cool! I didn't know what a kaossilator was, but now I do. Are you using it as source material?

this one was recorded through microphones, not through mixer. haven't played live for a couple of months (and solo for even more than that), so it felt a bit weird, but people seemed to really like it.

Found an old sony telephone pick-up microphone, so made this little noisescape today. The setup was basic - the pick-up attached to my cellphone, a pedal for gain and distortion, some delay, recorded onto my computer. Halfway into the track I turned a radio on and randomly pressed the buttons on a tape recorder. The phone provided a row of nice rhytmic clicks, the tape recorder buttons gave some nice sounds as well.
