is there a keygen or something to crack it this way? I have one but its an exe pc file...anyone have a mac keygen?

ALSO. I highly recommend the program CrossOver. It'll allow you to run that .exe keygen on your mac.

Much of the Baltimore house, African club, and Juke music I love is made on cracked copies of programs

maybe it will make you computer programmers happy to know I have legal copies of all the adobe software and final cut pro?

To answer that most effectively I need to know

1) What precisely about Reason are you interested in?

2) what platform you are using? You're on a mac, right? Have you tried GarageBand? it comes free with your mac and there's a fair number of free audio unit instruments out there that work with it, like Crystal.
