Upcoming films of note

Can we have general heads-ups on interesting stuff coming out (premiering or getting distribution) in the future, near or far? I don't keep up with reviews, and probably miss a fair number of good films that pass through.

Meek's Cutoff opens here in Chicago in a few weeks and I've heard good things. There's an interview in a recent Cineaste with the director, Kelly Reichardt.


I'll be keeping an eye out for the new Carlos Reygadas film, Post Tenebras Lux, too.

Ha. Yeah, love to see what he'd say about a Feldman or Mattin performance. Reichardt describes the movie as "a sequence of un-elevated moments" (paraphrased). If you've seen Old Joy presumably you know what you're in for.
