Much as I like Marker, I think you have be either French, or reside in France - and more specifically Paris - to get anything out of this. OK, so most of us can remember Bush and Blair, but the heavy empahsis on French politics and the appearance of local figures (hands up who's heard of Pierre Lellouche out there?), many of whom you're just supposed to recognise (who spotted Noël Mamère, anyone?), make it rather parochial. Have to say we watched the French (original) version. I suppose the English audio version isn't very different? Is it?
