Well, I don't have a plan...and I don't have a computer that's mine, but when in doubt...improvise.
Instead of one ten minute piece, can one do ten one minute pieces? (I joke, but seriously)

My submission is kind of, uh, conceptual ....
you guys are allowed to send me back to the drawing board if you don't like it.

Thanks for the submissions so far! I'd just like to reiterate that it is a 10 minute maximum. This is not a comment on the submissions so far, as we have not reviewed them yet... but please feel free to trim the fat and keep things concise! To answer Dohol's question, only one submission each please - even if it is short
Just send your best single piece.
Re: The Fifth IHM Compilation
So, I have been getting a few 24bit files. What is the thought about making the high res files available alongside the normal CD-burnable 16bit/44.1khz files? Does anyone care about that / is it worth the trouble?
Thanks to everyone so far for the submissions, keep em coming.
Also, let's start thinking about artwork - please post any ideas in the thread.

surprisingly, i don't care, actually. but i think if there is a demand it can be done. maybe people will finally take us seriously then.

I take my audiophile grade 24bit/192khz Steely Dan rips extremely seriously.

I don't know. If your cables cost a penny less than eleventy brazillion dollars, you're not getting the full effect.snailed wrote:I take my audiophile grade 24bit/192khz Steely Dan rips extremely seriously.

Re: The Fifth IHM Compilation
All right then, submitted my piece!
Re: The Fifth IHM Compilation
Thanks for all the submissions. Keep them coming, please. Don't be afraid to submit something! We still need more submissions to make this work.
Re: The Fifth IHM Compilation
I spoke with Niwi about this, and we were thinking that because the past compilations were primarily distributed via the board, we could find some alternative ways to make sure more people hear this fifth compilation. I was thinking that in addition to how we have distributed it in the past, we could also post it to archive.org, upload torrents, etc. Any thoughts for or against?
