No great surprises in your list (Jon), except the inclusion of Saladin's Déserts. Cute concept - as ever - but I can't say I really enjoy listening to it (the burning microphone sounds better, did you get that?). So rather curious to see that that made the cut and not, say, Droplets or No Islands on Another Timbre, which would seem to be more up your Wandelweiserian alley. Anyway, Happy New Year all.

Here's my list (putting them in any kind of sensible order is of course impossible, so no real attempt at that has been made and from about no. 11 on the order is probably best disregarded completely).
I only received 'E.E. Tension and Circumstance' on 30 Dec (listening to it for the 4th time as we speak), so of course I haven't really come to grips with it yet, but I think it's pretty clear that it will in retrospect be considered one of the absolute highlights of 2011.
Also want to stress that all Gravity Waves are fantastic, I just picked the one I favour most at the moment...

Keep 'em coming, gentlemen. I have purchased only a few CDs issued in 2011 (all classical music reissues + Miles Davis bitches brew live thing), I am still catching up with 2001 releases. I will be able to comment on 2011 ones in 10 years I guess. This is all timeless music, isn't it?

Yeah, but I didn't get any of those until this year, so they all count as 2011 releases, using the same principle applied to the Cardew disc.
