Seriously, Michael was a huge influence in chunk of the music I listen to.....sad news this is.

Well, when the cat was on, he was a force of nature in the music world. Never considered myself a fan, but when you look at the body of work, it's impossible not to tip your hat.

I was completely against the style of music that he produced in the 80's, but there's no denying what a powerful piece of work Thriller was/is.

I'm really speechless about this news, I don't know how to react...r.i.p.

It amazes me that, apparently in the minds of many (any here?), Jackson's contributions to pop music and popular culture outweigh his... ahem... peculiar love of children.
