I've got most if not all of his recorded solo works and this might even crack the top three. That initial portion which culminates in the applause, heart-racing stuff.

Stephen,

Now imagine buying a house, car and putting a couple of kids through the daycare system and see how that alters your music buying habit! :o

Only another four months sadly, then reality hits hard.

and back on topic, my last music purchases were:

Sonic Youth s/t 2LP repress
Yoshi Wada The Appointed Cloud CD

and a couple of reccs from the field recording thread:
Peter Cusack - Favourite Beijing sounds (really enjoyed this on headphones after dark, the slaughtering of Auld Lang Syne on the final track would make many a digital mangling bootlegger jealous)
Matheiu Ruhlmann + Celer CD

Great album, one of my favourite jazz albums ever. The only other Lateef albums I've enjoyed as much have been The Centaur And The Phoenix and Cry Tender.

Experimental music should be something that suggests a way of organizing your thinking, your attitude toward the world, which suggests that the world could be different.

No, a new one on me. Can't quite make out the names on that one, who are the musicians?
