I wish I could rapidshare my dirty dishes, two days worth there now, sigh.

Generally I don't desire to hear the sound of pure chaos, but one nice little item fell my way early this week:

Matthieu Saladin - 4'33" / 0'00"

The very first release of Cage's 4'33", from the 1974 Cramps release performed by Gianni-Emilio' Simonetti, but amplified by Saladin to the maximum level. The noisiest silence I ever heard.

Indeed I am, and also his rather good disc Plateformes with Boghossian and Rives.

Now back to the noisy stuff... I like Daniel Menche's stuff, his Creatures of Cadence on Longbox, and the 3" Kanticle on Fern are my favourites.

Reminds me of a "noise = silence + volume" conversation on another thread.

I really enjoyed the "Stock Exchanges Pieces" on wmor, but I supposed you have that...

Descension is great. I think everything is OOP nowadays isn't it ?

about the trio : Is that Alan Wilkinson ? Is that still in print ?

Jaworzyn and Wilkinson have a great duo (but I think we have mentioned that elsewehere)

Yes it is.

Probably not, it's an old releae on the Shock label. You might still come across it if you browse around, though (I did).

How do you do quotes of different messages in the same reply ????!!!!

You need to paste in what you want to quote (from whatever messages you want, and however much you want of them), select the bit of text to be quote-boxed, and click the "Quote" button (in the buttons listed above the reply box.) You'll automatically get the quote-/quote tags in brackets around the text, but you'll need to add the name of the person. For that, just look at the code you normally get when you hit reply. It shows you have to change the plain quote (in brackets) to quote="Richard Pinnell" (or whoever).
