Tell me about your favorite "guitar" albums

I've been in a guitar mood lately.

These can be jazz, rock, whatever. Just some albums that the guitar playing stands out to you.
I've been playing a mix of Robben Ford. Some real good stuff.

masayuki takayangi/kauro abe - mass projection (Abe kinda steals the show but not really by all that much. Takayanagi's on fucking fire for the whole damn thing.)
blue humans - clear to higher time (I honestly don't much care for this all that much anymore but it's a great record and it's still the best thing Alan Licht has ever been a part of.)

Is no one going to say Kevin Drumm's perdition plastics discs?

and i'd add tetuzi akiyama - don't forget to boogie and keith fullerton whitman - playthroughs, to stick to the most recent ones. the last hella is quite awesome too, but i don't know if it'll be an all time favorite.

one I heard recently:

Kang Tae Hwan | Uchihashi Kazuhisa duos. Kazu is an interesting guitarist/daxophonist and a good guy. This is on his label. If you haven't heard Kang on alto, then you ought to in a hurry.

Joe, have you heard much Kim Suk Chul? the one that I have that's amazing is called "Shamanistic Ceremonies of the Eastern Seaboard.", I'd love to hear anything else as good as that.

Nah I haven't.

You might should hear the Ichiraku/Kang duo, too, also on Uchihashi's label. Ichiraku playing ahem drums.

I don't have that, I do have the Uchihashi/Ichiraku on that label, didn't do much for me.

Kim Suk Chul is the amazing hojok player sampled by Otomo in Ground Zero's Consume Red and Last Concert (if sampled is the right word, he went to Korea and asked him to record something specially for that piece).

i"ve been looking for some of his stuff on soulseek, as i didn't want to buy one of his record without having heard what his solo work is like, but if you say it's good...
on which label has shamanistic ceremonies... been released?
