Dominique Répécaud died on 19th november.
We are so many to be overwhelmed. A lot of people knew him.
He run the festival Musique Action at Vandœuvre (near Nancy, France). It started in the 1980's. Certainly the most important festival of improvised and experimental music in the world.
Hundreds and hundreds of musicians... from everywhere in the world, came there and/or performed there.
We have so many unforgettable memories of so amazing concerts there!
Thanks to Dominique, an important network of experimental music could grow in France. A lot of people could discover musicians thanks to him. He worked very hard for that, every day.
He was a musician too, a guitarist, a true rocker.
He was a great guy, so kind, so attentive.
We miss him, we miss his smile.
