(file under: Sunn O))), Stephen O‚Malley)

Kevin Drumm is one of noises most mysterious and yet most celebrated noise acts. His shows seem to be few and far between but his recordings have reached all across the United States and Europe. He has performed as a member of Sunn O))) and released on Aaron Dilloway‚s prestigious Hanson Records. Now Drumm has a new split LP with Kevin Winter aka 2673. 2673 is coming off a long series of cd (and cd-r) splits with some of today‚s finest noise artists such as Cherry Point, Jessica Rylan, Unicorn (Bill Nelson of Bastard Nosie), and Scientific Explanation of Despair among others. This LP features a lush gatefold cover designed by Sunn O))) and Khanate member Stephen O‚Malley. There will only be one pressing of 500 colored records.
i ordered an armload for the shop back when it was announced... should... be... here... any... ... day... ...

I agree totally here, that's a really great disc. Around that time Drumm was making some really great music. I very much enjoyed the music he was making with Taku Sugimoto around that time. Its interesting to see the differing ways those two went in later years.....

He was the one standing in for RRRon in the No Fun Nihilist Assualt Group performance.

I think I saw him standing around the Best Buy on 86th St. He was smoking cigarettes, pacing, and looking intense. Both when I went in, and when I came out.

Keith: I wonder the same thing.

i should be getting a bunch of copies of the Kevin Drumm/2673 from Kevin Winters(2673) to help him sell. the best thing about that split is that they are both named Kevin with silly last names.
