Whoa, you got an original Incus pressing of that? They're rare these days (even the O'Rourke reissue's hard to come by)
enjoy!

No, I have lossless files of a CD version that my friend owns. I only cite the record-label for the sake of citation. I looked it up on discogs and thought that that was the only label that produced that album in all formats.

I should have said

Derek Bailey - Aida [Dexter's Cigar]
I think that's the CD's label.

Is it all that really rare? I've got my old Incus copy ( jacket a little worse for wear..) but, I was always under the impression that it's one of his more popular ( is that possible.. ) releases..I would think that his ECM thing with Holland would be harder to find..

popular or not, it's way out of print and there's still demand. I'm pretty sure I saw a copy of the O'Rourke re-issue going for $80 bucks recently.

I really now have now idea how my friend has that CD. There is no way she would have spent anywhere near that much.

well, it's perfectly possible she bought it back when it was still selling at normal retail prices. Which was the case if you looked hard enough for a copy even 3 years ago.

Simon Whetam Ko Kradan Hermit Crab (compost&height)

This one is really great, its a field recording of a hermit crab walking across a beach. It sounds like Jeph Jerman playing outside, but instead of him manipulating shells and rocks its a hermit crab.

Yikes, I really dont like this album. It shouldve stayed "lost".

"Jerusalem" is like Jackson Frank on a bad acid trip.

Michael Pisaro - An unrhymed chord (Edition Wandelweiser)

Just finished my first listen and I liked more the first disc than the second.

This rules.

I'm currently listening to the gentle rain I've awoken to, and regretting selling my copy of Aida's Call for $20 (although that was 5 years ago).
