Before all talk of the Wire's Rewind recedes into the distance, a quick mention for 'Ist gefallen in den Schnee', the disc by the Swedish ensemble Skogen (+ Toshi Nakamura and Angharad Davies), which made it into The Wire's top 10 discs of composed music, but probably passed most IHM-ers by. As I wasn't involved in its production in any way (except to say 'yes' when it was sent to me complete), I feel able to say that I think it's a really beautiful piece, and I'm glad that Magnus Granberg's music has received some recognition.

It is a really great disc. The only reason I didn't list it was because I got it into my head it was a 2011 release.
