Metamkine agrupa a músicos y cineastas que investigan la relación entre el cine y el sonido. El principal instrumento de la compositora e improvisadora mexicana Angélica Castelló es la flauta de pico y se presenta con el compositor, guitarrista y artista sonoro Burkhard Stangl. Compositor y cineasta, Tony Conrad es una de las figuras más emblemáticas y uno de los pioneros del movimiento experimental norteamericano de los sesenta. Jorge Haro es compositor, artista sonoro y audiovisual, co-director del proyecto LIMb0 y miembro fundador del sello Sudamérica Electrónica.

Quite enjoyed this one, almost worth the 5+ hour round bus trip from Leicester. that's a separate visit, just to be clear.
also, that quintet was touring around their scheduled appearance at Victo, but they're not on the final Victo schedule, so is that tour definitely still on? I could ask Toshi, but I don't want to bug him unnecessarily while he's in London.

to my knowledge, that show is on, along with one or two others in philly TBA also in may. didn't realize the IPR thing was april, sorry. that's a lot of travel!
