"Hitotsu" - disc 1 of the Raku Sugifatti set

Revisiting this after a recent Facebook conversation, and I have to admit I'm enjoying it more than I ever have before. I've obviously become more accustomed to the Sugimoto/Malfatti school of minimalism.

Walter Marchetti-De Musica Inversa (Cramps/Planam)

excited to have been able to trade for a copy of this pricy box. not my favorite or most comfortable to listen to area of music, but I think one that's very important to have heard and one that's maybe increasingly relevant today (?). it would be interesting to play this first 42 minute track (La Caccia) back to back with Malignitat, for instance.

I only wish the book came with the 5LP box. . .which is absolutely stunning. The LP cover art sleeves within the white sleeves are incredible. A big marmoreal bundle, still can't believe this (ALL the Cramps stuff) was even conceived. Vandalia on vinyl!

Fantastic stuff....

Taku Sugimoto/Annette Krebs | Eine gitarre ist eine gitarrre ist keine gitarre ist eine gitarre.

Still utterly fascinating.

Sunny Logemann (the complete works I guess... 4 tracks taken from two singles).

This lady was musically active sometime in the late 70s in Germany (Cologne?) and usually is loosely associated with the NDW. I found 4 tracks on the Brotbeutel blogspot http://brotbeutel.blogspot.com/search?q=Logemann , and wonder if the sound quality of these tracks (rather distorted) is like that on the original singles, or if it's just a bad transfer.

This sounds even more out then the Shaggs, but in the case of Sunny I have the feeling she knows a little bit better what kind of stuff she actually does there. I mean... alone the guitar-opening in "Rock 'n' Roll is as Dynamite"... well, I can't interpret that as naive guitar solo... it's an aggressive dissonant gesture, and played exactly like that.

Quite agree - I love the turn of century duos, especially those with Krebs and Drumm.

The first three tracks on the Cale album are my favorite.

NMPERIGN "We devote every effort to offer you the best that you deserve to have for your enjoyment."

Still good... I was probably at the concert at Mhere as I saw them there. I have only seen one concert and they played three times I think (for small audiences - the idea was to split the audience so everyone could see them).
