yeah, the review you've posted is great. i just wasn't sure how much further into translating texts you were going to go. glad to hear there is more in store. though, in my earlier post i was speaking specifically about books... if yuko starts tackling those, i might have to send her a cake! :)
The truth doesn't matter.

yeah, I think we're going to do one of the chapters in that otomo book above next, pending his permission. it is a lot of work and mental energy for yuko (and some for me, tightening up the english, but not nearly as much as her), so anyone excited about this should definitely post, here or on the site. I'll start an erstwords thread here soon.

When I saw Otomo and Seiichi Yamamoto at Shin-bi in Kyoto he was signing copies of that book for people. I recall looking at the English cover excitedly only to open it up and reveal hundreds of kanji I couldn't read. I'd be interested to read (in English) what Otomo has been writing.

it was really cool to read that amplify piece, and good to hear a new voice with its own unique (and well thought-out) interpretation. i liked the exploration of the different roles and approaches of the players within the fest. big thanks to the translator for her hard work. (recently trying my hand at it for the first time... not easy)

Keith Rowe/Taku Unami (ErstLive 006)
Keith Rowe solo (ErstLive 007)

are out now and ready to ship. an official announcement should follow via e-mail soon, but I wanted to give people here a heads-up first. all preorders will ship today, I'm addressing the last ones now. whoo!
