probably because it has more "weird" moments (the free jazz filtered sax solo in "Team spirit", the three Muddy Mouse pieces in side B)? Not my case, I love both the same. I turned again to this after listening Wyatt's versions of V. Jara "Te recuerdo Amanda".

It was great: I played the three episodes two times yesterday. I'm discovering Ferrari now, I only knew Presque Rien. The narrator voice as some really funny moments.

Don't know anything of Ferreyra, gotta check her works.

Caravan, For Girls Who Grow Plump In The Night

I have a soft spot for Caravan. Most people point out to In The Land of Grey and Pink as their best record, but I like this one just as much. I don't miss Richard Sinclair on it, and the band never straddled the line between prog and pop as swiflty as in this record.

Vanessa Rossetto - Whole Stories (Kye)

Truly outstanding. It's going to be in the top ranks of this year's best for sure. For fans of this type of post-Ferrari electro acustic composition this is a veritable feast of aural bliss. My favorite work of hers so far, and I already had her work in high regard.

VHS head - persistence of vision

supposedly sourced from vhs and beta tapes, it recalls dj shadow and el-p at times. overloaded with samples and percussion, it's a bit much, sort of cut-up/ADD techno/stomp, but has some decent melodies/moments. sorta grainy/lo-fi/compressed-sounding, it 'pops' out on shit computer speakers.
