Radian & Howe Gelb

now that's a surprise!
major fan of howe in the early 90s, but lost interest after the Giant Sand split. this could be a goodie.

[jon abbey]

a surprise but also not, Radian have been trying to do that for probably ten years at least. it's also worth noting that Radian's personnel has changed, Martin Siewert replaced Stefan Nemeth sometime in the last few years.

Haco / Toshiya Tsunoda - TramVibration (skiti, 2013)

Recorded by Haco using her stereo bugscope (two inductive microphones) system to catch electromagnetic sounds, and by Toshiya Tsunoda using a piezo-ceramic sensor and a stethoscope to capture solid vibrations, inside a tram on a round trip between Ebisucho and Hamaderaekimae on the Hankai Line, Osaka, December 28, 2006

Edited and mastered by Toshiya Tsunoda and Taku Unami

Released in November 2013

[jon abbey]

that one has been out for a week or two and in fact I mentioned it in the first post of the 'best of 2013' thread. it is indeed fantastic, highly highly recommended.

This looks amazing but I'm not so sure about the process of ordering it through their Japanese site... will any distributors be stocking this?
