It's an Eliane Radigue release Pedro (http://www.oral.qc.ca/index2.php)

On that same page (linked to above) there's a NIMB #8 listed as forthcoming by Toshimaru Nakamura... that's exciting eh?

[Wombatz]

KEVIN DRUMM "HUMID WEATHER" LP
Bocian Records - soon

I swallowed hard when I read this because I was sure I'd get vinyl envy, but listening again now it makes perfect sense as a cd-r.

Whilst perusing the snazzy new Cathnor website I noticed a few exciting releases planned...

A new Stephen Cornford & Samuel Rodgers full length called 'Boring Embroidery' (their last collaboration of piano and electronics if what I read somewhere is to be believed?)

A disc by Radu Malfatti which I believe will be his first solo 'improv' release...

Also a brand new series of releases (going under the name of the 'Collector Series') that so far list discs by Jack Harris and Pascal Battus as forthcoming.

All very good and exciting eh!

Just out now, I think - and enough on these 4 CDs to keep you busy until the summer holidays. Check out the cast

It's fantastic -- I talked about it here, almost a year ago:

But it actually came out a couple months ago almost.

I reckon the new Mathieu Ruhlmann disc on 3Leaves sounds very promising!

Carol Robinson, bassetthorn & sprecherin/Dante Boon, klavier/Tom Johnson, glocken

I have it on good authority that there will be a new Sealed Knot record out soon... it ties in with their upcoming gig in Berlin and will also act as a kind of relaunch for Confront.

The disc is a live recording of the Knot performing at the Another Timbre festival that took place at Cafe OTO back on 21 January 2009:

Burkhard Beins: percussion & electronics
Rhodri Davies: harp & electronics
Mark Wastell: tam-tam & electronics

recorded by Simon Reynell (of course!).

L'Eix · Empra mots
Ferran Fages/Oriol Rosell/Julià Carboneras
Released 30 April 2013
