Pauline Oliveros, Roscoe Mitchell, Wadada Leo Smith, John Tilbury from a radio broadcast of an improvised set at the Angelica Festival last night.

I'm still downloading, so I can't vouch for content or sound quality, but what a quirky set of players.

keep your eyes on the avant-garde section, its filled with surprising gems. same goes with the jazz section. the industrial section is bleh. you just need to follow it, its constantly changing, you can have specific genre updates emailed.

A selection of five Cor Fuhler pieces from various radio broadcasts is up here. I'm listening to one now, Onifat, for analogue synthesizer and ensemble, and there's a short piece called Beasts Eating Chives performed by the Maarten Altena Ensemble I'm looking forward to as well.

Here's a note for the people on this board who enjoy the Lou Reed/Metallica collaboration. A concert video of this has been upped not on dime, but on the traders' den. Enjoy.

http://www.thetradersden.org/index.php
(I don't have the direct link to the show available as I was too lazy to log in)

It's from Cologne, on 11.11.11 - the day when the Carneval period officially starts there.
. . . .

thanks for that, I just learned that dime evidently kills your account if you don't use it for a while, even if your ratio is very good.

thankfully it was easy to sign up again, but annoying to have my ratio erased...

I haven't grabbed this, but there's a 2009 Magic I.D. show up. Different than the other one which uses the same prose blurb.
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-deta ... ?id=417474
Fondazione Musica per Roma in collaborazione con Radio3 Battiti presenta :
Be Music, Night - The Magic I.D.

recorded for "Be Music, Night" festival at Teatro Studio dell'Auditorium del Parco della Musica, Roma [ITALY], on monday 14 december 2009, 21:00 hours

Kai Fagaschinski - clarinet
Margareth Kammerer - vocals, guitars
Christof Kurzmann - vocals, G3, loops, electronics
Michael Thieke - clarinet

how would you label Robert Wyatt's music? Post-Canterbury pop? Avantgarde songwriting? Letfield poetry? well, this from Germany is something like that, which might leave remebering of Caravan, Legendary Pink Dots and Current 93... and nico, clearly...
from http://www.mimaroglumusicsales.com/arti ... +i.d..html :
>>> the use of space & dissonant tonal clusters does remind me of that oft-cited mark hollis [Talk Talk] solo records, but not overtly so. kammerer’s vocal delivery is lovely & very much indebted to billie holiday, whereas kurzmann’s has more in common with tom rapp (mainly in that it’s a taste that, when acquired, ends up being very comforting) ... his plaintive guitar figures are simple & unadorned, the digital sequences pushed into the background for the most part. even thieke & fagaschinski’s dovetailing upper-register lines are made somehow more pleasant through their association with the breezy art-song herein <<<
another set by them still running at http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-deta ... ?id=387245

(00-radio introduction by Pino Saulo) 1.03
01- Atmospheres Of A Beginning [5.38]
02- True Holiday [7.44]
03- Feet Deep [5.46]
04- My Hands (Are Stronger) [5.28]
05- Eric Kicks [5.12]
06- From the Same Road [7.46]
07- Martin Fierro [3.13]
08- Something [5.44]
09- Mambo [9.21]
10- Wintersong [6.26]
11- Weary [4.51]
12-radio outro [0.19]

running time : 67'09" (without radio intro and outro)
WITH radio intro and outro it would be 68'30"

FM radio broadcast by "Battiti", Radio 3 RAI [third channel of Italian national radio],
on tuesday 21 August 2012, 24:05 hours CET.
[This recording comes from rebroadcast, as this was firstly aired on 2009-12-21]

Right but you have to be an upgraded member which you have to request for through email after registering.

That one sounds cool, I have another Beck one circa Midnite Vultures era
