yea that aka pygmy stuff is so good, some of my favorite music in the whole world. My favorite is Linquindi, drumming on the top of the water, something supposedly done just to pass the time while washing clothes, done by certain ethnic groups. These are my favorite Pygmy discs:

This is nails throughout, what a delight, the archival title couldn't be more misassigned. What party music, you could mistake a couple tracks for early Chico Buarque or Gilberto Gil.

I can't find any information about this. I just have "Africa Centrafrique Anthologies de La Musique Des Pygmees". Can you please tell me where i can find informations/CDs about this ?

There is a recording of it on the Baka Pygmies Unesco album, i believe the track is called "The Water Drum". I'll look at my other cds to see what other recordings there are. I believe it's specific to the Baka people, but I'm not entirely sure.
