A 1997 recording of unaccompanied free improvisations by each musician, which ware later combined to make 12 relatively short compositions. No instructions were given for the recordings. The music has an air of Lachenmann to it, with a startling range of textures which are given enough time to develop.
The result is possible one of the best discs I own.

You're most welcome! It's a real beauty, that one. I found a blog that took the trouble to separate individual tracks from many of the tapes in the series, which is useful in case you're interested to check some other ones out - depends mostly on taste as they're all fairly nuanced.
