Has anyone started down the Pewburner road? Probably a filthier habit than taking up crack smoking: http://pewburner.com/products.html

Damn, I'd just have to throw a couple darts, would love some pointers from that massive list. And it looks like that's the most efficient way to pick up those tremendous Acrobats (http://pewburner.com/links.html).

An epic Tessie Hill track, "I Must Tell Jesus" from Think About It (1976).

The Rev. Douglas Bell's Nuclear Blast LP, reissued by Big Legal Mess, is a fine one. "The Bitter and the Sweet," available as an MP3 on the label's site, is fantastic (listen carefully for the crazy Sun Ra-style keboards low in the mix!)
My neighborhood goes kinda nuts for Hallowe'en - one house puts out a full mounted horse skeleton with horse-drawn carriage for decorations - and I noted one house was blasting really good music (Stooges, Sonics, Hank Williams, Throbbing Gristle...) so I introduced myself to that guy while taking the kids trick-or-treating. He turned out to be a really nice guy with an insanely great record collection, and yet he bathes and exercises. He loaned me the fine comp Detroit Blues Volume 3: Blues Shouters and Gospel Moaners. The gospel content's excellent - Brother Will Hairston's "Alabama Bus" is now a fave secular-topic gospel tune, and all of the Hairston tracks have superb and unusual percussion work.
