Maybe a boot of a real old release:mudd wrote:there's a new questionably legal pandit pran nath record in circulation. terrible name, awesome music. it's earth groove - the voice of cosmic india. but new age it is not.

I think I have a copy somewhere around here.Douglas International Records, New York, N.Y., 1968. Earth Groove; Side 1: Raga Bhupali, "Maha Dev"; Side 2: Raga Asavari. Pandit Pran Nath, voice; Shyam Bhatnagar, tambura; tabla.

yeah ive checked out the (int'l) harvester & parson sound stuff
parson sounds got some a few cool raga-esque songs that i dug, & im sure im in the minority on this, but i dont feel like any of that stuff is as good as the trad gras och stenar ive heard
ill check out a lot of these other recc's though
