Really meditative music recommendations

Recommend me really meditative music. I'm specifically looking for some music to listen to on peaceful walks at sunrise or sunset, but anything meditative in general is fine. Thanks.

I wish I could give you a list but I'm afraid it might be far away from your expectations. Maybe you could explain what you mean by "meditative music." By my definition I find that most of the music I'm interested in is meditative.

I think I'm being vague because I'm not even quite sure what I'm looking for, but things similar to La Monte Young's The Black Record (specifically 31 VII 69 10:26 - 10:49 PM), Pandit Pran Nath, or Stephen Cornford's stuff are a start. Thematically, if this makes any sense, good peaceful music to accompany a sunrise or sunset is another thing I'm looking for, although I'm sure this varies from person to person.

Morton Feldman's "For Samuel Beckett", the HAT version. The others I've heard are too fast and too fuckin' loud!

As vital and meticulously detailed as her work is, it is capable of inducing calm abiding states of intense focus.



Choying Drolma
Cho

Tibetan mantram and evocations by an improbably beautiful, untrained nun. This release has Drolma's prayers framed subtly by guitarist Steve Tibbetts. I was in a small space with Drolma's chanting in 1998, it penetrated a few cynical listeners in attendance.



Arvo Part
Fratres

Critical super-saturation and its predictable backlash have turned a lot of people off to Part's naive compositions. Too bad, as pieces like Fratres are a sonic response, in "classical" music, to what Malfatti (in)famously calls excessive chatter in improvised music. Anyway, Part has written some simple lines that bear repeated listening.

Pauline Oliveros explicitly mentions meditative states in regard to her work, the reissues of The Wanderer and Accordion and Voice on Important records last year might be worth picking up.
some of Phil Niblock's less austere stuff, maybe Touch Food in fact a lot of stuff on Touch could fall into this thread...

I can think of a few O'Rourke albums I wouldn't call all that meditative, either
