Favourite pictures of musicians

Post by maRi »

A thread for your favourite photos of musicians, not necessarily of your favourite musicians, but photos you love. Please provide a description so that it's clear who the people pictured are.

My favourite pic of my favourite man, Neil Young, during the 'Tonight's the Night' tour of 1973.

Experimental music should be something that suggests a way of organizing your thinking, your attitude toward the world, which suggests that the world could be different.

This was on the cover of the first record I ever bought for myself as a child. The caps on Lightnin' Hopkins's front teeth look like painted cement, the cig holder is a nice touch, I must have stared at this for at least a hundred hours total, trying to fathom the man and his music. I had no English at that time, I wonder what I thought these songs were about.

I happen to have that photo with me one day when i ran into Christian in the library and he told me that, as far as he knows, that is the only photo with all 5 of those dudes present.
