Anthony Braxton was quite a Dolphyphile and it shows in his early/mid works.
You mentioned Cecil taylors Conquistador, I would add Nefertiti to that list as well.

David Goodis, the king of darkness. He wrote Shoot The Piano player, Cassidys Girl, Street of no return and many others. Also Charles Willeford is also fantastic. Topography of the lungs is indeed wonderful. Also very good from the same era is Iskra 1903, a trio with Barry Guy and Paul Rutherford. Still available from Emenem ( three disc set though ). I prefer his early, mid seventies stuff ( Vol 1, Taps, etc ) though Aida and Music and Dance are very cool.
