I thought this thread was about the death metal pedal. What kind of death metal do you play? Just plain old-school goodness? The ringmod sounds interesting. I'd also try pedals that give a fuzzy chainsaw-esque sound, Digitech's synthwah does that in some settings, it's an awesome sound but just way ...

You can use the Phone out on the Alesis as your extra output for loops whatsoever, but out of these two I'd still go with the Behringer. More EQ knobs and outputs to play around with. I don't know about USB outputs, are they worth it? Do they sound good (better then simple line out) when recording t...

But at least it wasn't as godawful as Existenz or The Fly . As I see Cassel is in this one too, I can't say I'm in a hurry As I've stated many times before, I consider eXistenZ one of the great films of the last 30 years, and feel doubtful that Cronenberg will be able to better it in the remainder ...

Library.no dead? Noooooooooo They were posting loads of quite rare books.

No, it's far-far-far from being genius stuff. Maybe my expectations we...

http://www.mediafire.com/?nbbhdbcbcobbsgf Godse - noise and metal and stuff like that, all improvised. Line-up is drums-bass-saxophone-guitar, the sax-player switched to flute for some time in the middle of the gig. Actual business starts around a minute into the mp3, before that it's the audience ...

with such a cool packaging you run the risk that everyone discusses the packaging but not the content though... Exactly. E.g., this review of Zs's button-mp3-player EP. Also, the reviewer states that he has "found there isn’t [an mp3 of the EP] online. The regular apparatus of disseminating musical...

http://soundcloud.com/eat-rust/radio-rust-2 Found an old sony telephone pick-up microphone, so made this little noisescape today. The setup was basic - the pick-up attached to my cellphone, a pedal for gain and distortion, some delay, recorded onto my computer. Halfway into the track I turned a radi...

Half (or even more) of all giallo films are rubbish (they were mass-produced in great numbers after all). Sometimes they don't even qualify for "so bad it's good". The rest are great! Watched Fulci's "A Lizard in a Woman's Skin" ( "Una lucertola con la pelle di donna" ). It's bloody, sensual, erotic...

Amon Düül II - Yeti

Really love this album, especially Soap Shop Rock, Eye-Shaking King and the long Yeti impro.

Bought a used Digitech Synth Wah pedal. The previous owner removed the original cover whatsoever, maybe he wanted to re-paint it or something... Honestly, I'm not too keen abuot the original sparkling green finish either

A rather random remark, but never ever in my life did I make that gesture the only living figure in that pic above, the guy with the hoodie, is doing (hands/arms up). I guess you either have to be involved for that with occult or religious rituals, heavy metal performance or certain sports. And fun...

Gruppo di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza - The Feed-back

Compiled a top 40 list... Would be a top 50, but I've decided to only mention each artist once. My music taste starts at the end of the 60's and is getting pretty crowded 'round the end: guess I need more older stuff to listen to (if I want a "balanced" taste). When it comes to Captain Beefheart, I'...
