excellent

Hi! Starting this year, I'll be keeping all label updates in this one thread rather than creating new ones. First up, there's a new CDr from Human Combustion Engine, which is Mel and Phil from Ashtray Navigations. It's one long synth duet and is lovely. http://www.ilsemusic.info/uploads/8/4/5/6/8456...

Dear god, no.

One a side note, what artists are not bourgeoisie (as in the economic middle class) nowadays? This is not really a problem, I feel. I'm a poor as fuck worker and so are most of the artists I know. (For me, my art and my activism are absolutely inseparable, as are the histories of the creative avant...

Yeah, I always just roll December onto the next year's list. So this is for 12/11 - 11/12. These things can never really be definitive anyway; I know that sooner or later I'll hear something from 2012 that belongs here, be it one of these three Catharine Lamb discs that I haven't got to quite yet or...

For me, The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other, H to He Who Am The Only One and Pawn Hearts are the zenith.
But Aerosol Grey Machine is quite underrated, I think. The first song, "Afterwards", in particular, is really lovely.

I'm going with: Erstwhile 017 Cor Fuhler / Gert-Jan Prins The Flirts 065 Andrea Neumann / Bonnie Jones Green Just As I Could See 011 Otomo Yoshihide & Voice Crack Bits, Bots And Signs 020 Giuseppe Ielasi / Domenico Sciajno Right After 042-2 Sachiko M / Toshimaru Nakamura / Otomo Yoshihide Good Morni...

just trawl venues handing out demo tapes etc. This can actually work. It's easier if you have friends who play in punk rock bands or such and want to share the bill. The punks who come out are often quite open-minded, at least in my area. Small art galleries are usually game, too, if you pitch your...

Sorry, I didn't mean to make it a major part of the discussion. And it's not the only film I named that I think is propagandizing.
I quite agree with Dan; we've gone way off topic.
