I can't Fucking stand that Pallbearers guys vocals.... that last track on the Loss album is totally objectionable, I haven't bothered with the actual Pallbearer album because of it. I kInd of blame Warning for this sort of thing.....

Reverend Bizarre - Everything! Pagan Altar - Everything!! The 'reunion' albums are top fucking notch Unholy - From The Shadows Thergothon - Streams From The Heavens Mournful Congregation - Monad Of Creation, Book Of Kings, pretty much everything they've done Evoken - Embrace The Emptiness Disembowel...

I really liked the first Ignvomous LP but that last one left me cold, cold, cold and not in the grimm forest way..... As far as the Sacriphyx, I totally dig them, the LP finally arrived the other day and it's a real monster, I just dig that they're doing exactly what they want and while aping a styl...

From what I've heard (the 7" and the split with Stargazer) they do the Hellenic BM thing REALLY well. But I suppose it's going to come down to how much you like Varathron and Rotting Christ and bands of that style. Personally I love that stuff so a band replicating that style is a no-brainer for me ...

I'm going to agree with Holyghost, the new Vassafor is pretty great, btw. In fact, it's probably one of the best of my 2013. Murky great. Except that it came out in 2012 :P  :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: and I'd kill for W.A.I.L. to release another LP..... And so it goes, I type this whenever back...

I have Tannenbaum and Crowded on route from him

Hospital Productions $35 to ship one CD to Canada

I don't fucking think so....

Beyond Creation signed to Season Of Mist and their criminally underrated debut is being reissued soon. Which is excellent, if you like 8 string guitars, fretless bass insanity and "progressive technichal death metal" which I happen to a great deal. No Obscura or Decrepit Birth on the horizon so this...

Yeah, both of these albums are probably my most anticipated albums of any genre for 2013. I'm waiting for the vinyl on the Portal. Hoping it comes out sooner rather than later... Another anticipated release is the new Swallowed and Krypts. In other news, I've realised that Funebre's early demos for...

Mate I'm looking forward to this A LOT.

Not a lot enough to buy the crazy deluxe edition

New Portal out now. 4 years since the last one. The world is going to end....

New Antediluvian LP soon too, 2013 will be insane.....

The Finnish scene (Kaaos, Bastards, Varaus, Tampere SS, Riistetyt, Stalin, Teervet Kadet, etc) should not escape your attention...

Also I firmly believe Rudimentary Peni's Death Church is the greatest, weirdest punk record ever made.

I'm amazed more people aren't flipping their lids for this one. So awesome.

I thought Atonement Ritual was great, but this is just in a league of it's own. Greece can really crank out some ragers. And the packaging is unreal on the LP.

http://getmetal.org/uploads/posts/2011-08/1312547948_46761_craft_void.jpg BLACK FUCKING METAL I thought the last two were great, and I was so excited for this, but it kind of let me down. I dunno, I think it was reading they used a drum machine, the cover art and the "I Want To Commit Murder" song ...

some Adversial songs on YoutTube ain't bad, but it doesn't really grip me either. don't really know whY. Depends on the album - the full length had the fucking worst drum sound I have ever heard (PINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPINGPING) but the recent 12" with the Incantation a...

I will check that out!! Of course I almost forgot the soundtrack to Forbidden Planet, which is a great film and an amazing score and still available on CD quite easily. And not available so easily is the soundtrack to The Dunwich Horror, which has some excellent weird electronic elements to it as we...

I mean look at this..... Are you fuckin' crazy?!?!?! http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=ennio+thing&_sacat=0&_odkw=the+thing+ost&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313 Why don't DVDs nowadays have a bonus disc with the soundtrack? I'd pay an extra six dollars for that? Like the Jowdorowsky box set, tha...

Either way it's an AWESOME record (I wish that would get a reissue), there's a few bands doing something similar, one is PVMNTSW from Sweden who did a 3" CDR on small-doses last year and the other is Mutation In The Gryd who have done a couple of amazing tapes recently...... Very Carpenter-esque stu...
